It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Nicholson of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Nicholson and Mary Ann Nicholson (Gillis); his wife Charlene; and his siblings, Donald, Cavell, Melrose, Jack, Shelby, Angus, William Kenneth, Christina and Margie.
He is survived by: his son Richard Neil (Alice); his grandsons, Luke and Jimmy; and his siblings, Gary, Theodore (Ethel), Daniel (Theresa), Florence, Ann (Fred), Sandra (Ralph) and Lynn (Lorne).
Donations in memory of Richard are kindly accepted for St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church to the General Fund.
