He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bonnar and Florence Bonnar; his brother Freddie (Betty); his good buddy Dwayne; and his grandson Josh MacKinnon (Brianna).
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughters, Jessica (Clifton) and Deanna (Sherman); his grandsons, Hank, Remington, Jake (Cori) and Jeremy (Tanya); his great grandchildren, Stephanie, Brody, Breton, Josh and Bella; his siblings, Simon (Cathy), Allan (Donna), Beatrice (Tommy), Elizabeth (David), Willa, Maggie (Jim), Mary (Bert) and Johnny; and his friend Henry Burton.
A wake was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jessica's Home (3119 Bay St Lawrence Rd, Saint Margaret Village, NS B0C1G0).
