We bid farewell to Pearl Lorene Colvey (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Cape Dauphin, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2024 at the age of 89. Pearl Lorene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. MacLennan and Jennie MacLennan (Clarke); her husband Hubert Colvey; her siblings, Catherine MacQuaig, Ruby Brown, Jennie MacLennan, Louise Lutz and Daniel MacLennan; and her stepfather D. J. MacDonald.
She is survived by: her son Bernie (Laura); her granddaughter Tania Sullivan (Cory); her great grandchildren, Landen and Lily Rose; and her nephew John MacLennan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home (8 Clyde Ave, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2E4). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
