He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stubbert and Florence Stubbert (MacPhee); his children, Valerie Puzigaca, Patricia and Orville; his daughter-in-law Annette; and his siblings, William, Louise Gouthro, Isabel Canavan, Marcella Bethune, Gloria Stagg, Elaine Blagdon, Sylvia Clarke, Bernadette Glover, June and Joan.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Florence Stubbert (MacGregor); his children, Diane Gerrow (Ricky), Sydney Mines, Barbara Devoe (Alex), Alder Point, Paula Johnston (Michael), David of Winnipeg, MB, Craig Stubbert (Rita) and Bruce Stubbert (Joyce); his son-in-law Jerry Puzigaca; his siblings, Yvonne Johnston and George; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Melanie, Nicole, Christopher, Bradley, Amanda, Jason, Robert, Rodney, David, Tanya and Maria. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren.
