E. I. and Dr. Michael Barrie (Marie Annik) of Port Hope, Ontario; his siblings, Blaine Barrie (Evelyn) of Bedford, N. S. and Willa Anne MacNeil of Halifax, N. S.; his sister-in-law Geraldine Barrie of St. John; his brother Murray; his brother-in-law Wayne MacNeil; and also Gwyneth Barrie (Bird) of Alberton, P. E. I.. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
