Nerta Ann Jerrett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nerta Ann Jerrett (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie MacLean and Frank MacLean of Sydney Mines; her siblings, Monty MacLean (Ruth), Roy MacLean (Theresa) and Dorothy Hawboldt (Charlie); and her daughter-in-law Alma Jerrett (Terry).
She is survived by: her husband Harry Jerrett of Josie's Restaurants Ltd; her sons, Terry (Alma), Darrell (Alma) and Blair (Joanne); her grandchildren, Darrell Jerrett (Raeann), Jeff Jerrett (Elizabeth), Kurt Jerrett (Brittany), Lauren Lamey (James), Brett Jerrett (Sarah), Ciara Watton (Matt) and Katie Jerrett-LeFort (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Bryn, Shay, Lachlan and Chloe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
