She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Wilkie and Christene Wilkie; her husband Wendell; her children, Lester and Doreen; and her brothers, Gifford and Harold.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Gwynn of Aspy Bay; her grandchildren, Mark Gwynn (Lindsey), Allison Shea (James), Richard MacDonald (Laurie), Heather MacDonald (Max) and Katie MacDonald; her daughter-in-law Dianne Gwynn; and her sisters, Stella Capstick, Carol MacInnis and Sandra Dowling. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aspy Bay United Church, Highland Manor or North of Smokey Food Bank.
