Michael Spooney Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Spooney (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Ryan and Jonathan; his daughter-in-law Charlotte; his sister Kay; and his nephew David.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Michael (Kelly), John, Chris, Derrick (Shauna), Jeff (Verna), Steven (Terri) and Anna (Paul); and his sister Gloria (Scott). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. 'Grandad'.

Due to Covid a private family gathering will take place.
