Michael Joseph Moore Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Moore (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Moore Sr. (Sammy) and Rodena Moore (MacMullin); his significant other Geralyn; his son Stan; his brothers, Stanley (Betty) and John (Anne); his nephew James; and his brother-in-law Victor Braden.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg (Danielle), Troy, Steven and Michael; his siblings, Rodina Braden (Mike), Mary Ross (Donald), Hughie (Bernice) and Bernie (Charlene); his close friends, Theresa Turbide, Todd, Kevin (Carm), Ronnie (Marie) and Michelle Turbide; his granddaughters, Ceili, Tara Moore and Hannah Turbide; and his friends, Cathy Floerke and Roland Skinner.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
