Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Harrietha (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away at the age of 89, on March 3, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harrietha and Mary Anne Waugh (Molly) of Point Aconi; his son Keith; his siblings, Dan (Vange), Joe (Regina), Jack, Margaret, Irene Rideout (Walter), Josie O'Shea (Joe), Velma Bona (Danny) and Pat Carey (Tommy); his sister-in-law Cavelle Fabian; and also Nettie.

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Colleen), David (Brenda), Gordie (Joanne), Ralph (Ann), Dale (Nancy), Norma Bishop (Paul) and Gwen Wadden (Brent); his grandchildren, Keith, Krista, Lynda, Alisha, Allison, Cory, Erica, Tyler, Natasha, Colin, Graham, Michael, Brandon and Bryanna; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Leia, Caleb, Hayden, Nathan, Keila, Cole, Maya, Eric, Rory, Isla, Archer, Julia, Emery and Wyatt; his siblings-in-law, Ernie Erickson (Nora), Gonie Harrietha and Millie Erickson (late Vince); and his friend Din (Thank). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Covid 19 protocol will be observed in the funeral home and the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph Church Cemetery Fund in Little Bras d'Or or a charity of one's choice.
