It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Hatcher (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 22, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hatcher and Dorothy Hatcher (Billard); and his sister Sharon Anderson. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy; his granddaughter Brianna; his sisters, Thelma MacLennan (Bill), Dalem Lake and Hilda Hatcher; his nieces and nephews, Diane Power (Steve), Lisa MacLennan (Sheldon Reid), Gail Giaannandrea (Darren MacKeigan), Kim Pendergast (Alfie) and Christopher Anderson (Amanda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Megan, Ryan, Cate, Brianna, Xavier, Carter, Abigail and Zoe.
