It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Bianchini (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Florence, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward MacDonald and Margaret MacDonald (Walsh); her husband Joe; and her siblings, Loretta, Margaret, Alex and Jerome.

She is survived by: her children, Darlene (Owen Viva), Donnie (April), Bernice (Gordon McMahon) and Joey (Denise); her brother Neil MacDonald; her grandchildren, Tracey, Tara, Amanda, Alyssa, Sam, Sara and Toni; and also Michele. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

There will be a 50-person capacity with Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing in affect.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
