We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Marguerite MacNeil (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Florence, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexis Hervé and Agnes Hervé (MacInnis) of Pitt Street; her son Paul Vincent MacNeil; her siblings, Eva Scott, Freda Devilin, Regina Jobe, Joan Coady, John Alexis 'Sony Hervé and William 'Billy Hervé; and her foster brother Wilfred Hart.

She is survived by: her husband John MacNeil of Sydney Mines; her sisters, Irene MacMillan (New Waterford) and Agnes Reid (Sydney); her sister-in-law Hilda Hervé (Dartmouth); her children, John (Sandra), Wanda (Victor) and Nicole MacNeil of Halifax, NS; her grandchildren, Andrew and Marissa MacNeil; and her children, Shannen, Victor Grandy of Halifax, NS, Duncan and Broghan Lougheed. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

Covid 19 restrictions will be observed at the visitation and church.
