She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Briers and Harold Briers of Sydney Mines, NS.; her husband Justin Fowler; and her parents-in-law, Lawrence, Harold, Bernard, Marie and Theresa.

She is survived by: her sons, Matthew and Nicholas; her siblings, David (Terri), Bruce (Lisa), Jeanne (Jody Jessome) and Wendy (Jim Clarke); and her siblings-in-law, Gerry, Albert (Pauline), Ralph (Mary), Francis, Clare (Albert Spurvey), Eleanor (Cliff Winsor) and Christine (Harold Budgell). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
