She was predeceased by: her close friend Harry Higham; her son Blair (Edward); her brother Harry Higham (late Marie); her parents, Arthur Blinkhorn and Agnes Blinkhorn; and her siblings, Lawrence, Mary and Shirley.

She is survived by: her children, Lorraine O'Keefe (Kevin), Michael (Yvonne), Paul (Audrey) and Joanne Sexsmith (John); her grandchildren, Michael, Laurie, Stephen, Matthew, Jonathan, Paula, Katie and Joel; her siblings, Goldie Bona, Marcella O'Brien, Doreen Pentecost, Bernard (Mary Jane), Billy (Linda), David (Irene) and Bobby (Mary); and her sister-in-law Wendy Simpson (Nugent).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sydney Mines Volunteer Fire Department, or the Activities Department Miners Memorial Manor.
