Lorraine Nicholson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lorraine Nicholson (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Florence, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Higham and Myrtle Higham (Dewfall); her former husband Ronald Ramsdale; her husband Roderick Nicholson; her daughters, Jackie and Ronalda; her brothers, Everett and Harry Higham; and her sisters-in-law, Geraldine and Pearl Higham.

She is survived by: her children, F. W. Woolworth Co, James, Store, Florence, Atlantic St. Dairy, Sydney Mines and Trudy Herritt (Frank); her grandchildren, Tanya Clarkson (Jason), Steven Herritt and Michael Bowne; her great grandchildren, Michaela Jessome, Aubrey, Ashton and Ashley Herritt; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Grace and Emily Clarkson; her sister Sylvia McMullen (Micky); her son-in-law Charlie Bowne; her stepchildren, Lennie Pardy, Sally Popovich and Nick Nicholson; and her friends, Bibsey MacKeigan, Josephine Clark, Edie Brown and Isabelle MacKenzie (Muir). She is also survived by father to her girls.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her "Earth Angel," Shannon Dove, for always going above and beyond to keep Mom happy, comfortable and laughing when COVID restricted us from seeing her.
