Laverne Boutilier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Boutilier (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Waye and Margaret Waye (Pyke); her husband William "Billy Boo" Boutilier; her sister Jessie; her brother-in-law Ernie Butts; her sister Katherine (Kay); her brother-in-law William Gillis; her brother Kelvin Waye; her brother-in-law George Tucker (Nick); her parents-in-law, Herbert and Elizabeth Boutilier; her nephew David James Fells; and her great-niece Emily Jean Fells.

She is survived by: her son Stephen; her daughter-in-law Tracey; her grandchildren, Virginia and Vincent; her siblings, James Waye (Buddy), Alana Waye and Sydney Mines; her sister-in-law Anne Devoe; and her goddaughter Melanie (Keith Ongo). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
