He was predeceased by: his parents, James Waye and Margaret Waye (Pyke); his sisters, Kay Gillis and Jessie Butts; his brothers-in-law, Ernie Butts, Billy Boutilier, Billy Gillis and Nick Tucker; and his nephew Davey Fells.

He is survived by: his children, Glen (Sydney Mines), Gail (Gary) and Groves Point; his stepchildren, Betty Ann (Richard), Frankie (Nancy), Sydney Mines, Maureen (Darren) and North Sydney; his grandchildren, Mitchell (Andrea), Jeffrey (Amy), Nancy (Joey), Clifford (Lindsey), Emma, Janine and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Maggie and Henry; his siblings, James, Laverne, Sarah Ann and Alana; and also, Michael (Tracy) and Florence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in Kelvin's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one's choice.
