He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacNeil and Doreen MacNeil (Mitchell); and his siblings, Darryl and Mary Lou. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Corey, Stephen, Greg (Tara), Beverley (James), Shirley (Patrick) and Lee Ann (Terry).
