John Dan Jobes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John Dan Jobes (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Capstick, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jobes and Sadie Jobes (MacEachern); his wife Nora (Murphy); his granddaughter Paige Burchell; his son-in-law Donnie MacLean; his sister Mae; his brother-in-law Bob MacDonald; his brother Ebbie Capstick; and his stepfather John S. MacKinnon.

He is survived by: his close friend Beverly Mitchelitis; his children, Gail MacLean (late Donnie Mac Lean), Manning (Andre), Joanne Burchell (Raymond), Lori Lynn Jessome (Gary) and Kara Jane Jobes (Travis Williams); his grandchildren, Brandon, Tiffany, Erika, Joshua, Jonathan, Justin, Lauryn, Jeremy, Kody and Brandi Lee; and his brother Billy Vanachuck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current Covid 19 Pandemic, there will be no visitation.
