In loving memory of John Charles Dalton (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who departed this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 87. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dalton and Maria Dalton; his son John (Sister Margaret LeBlanc); his brother Edward; and his friends, Herbie Snow and Tommy Corkey.
He is survived by: his close friend Doreen Pentecost; his children, Charlie, Edward and Maria (Gordon); his grandchildren, Tyler, Darren, Garrett, Catherine, Ashlyn, Alyssa, Samantha, Amie, Stephanie and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Jace and Alya; and his sisters, Doris, Linda and Mary Eileen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jm Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church.
