He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evans and Bernadette Evans (Young); his sister Sheila Laidlaw; and his stepfather Bill Evans. He is survived by: his wife Anna Evans (Kiernan); his children, Chris (Sherry) and Lisa (Mike); his grandchildren, Hayley, Christopher and Felicia; his sister Gayle Iannetti (Sam) of Sydney Mines; and his sister-in-law Mae MacNeil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
