Hugh Allison MacLean Obituary

The passing of Hugh Allison MacLean (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 66. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Tara Ratchford (Sean) and Scott MacLean (Katie); his grandsons, Nixon, Dawson and Hardge; his siblings, Beryl Forrest (Donnie), Louvine Bonner (Lenny), Darlene MacLennan, Sherry Thurbide (Joey) and Kenneth MacLean (Cathy); his parent Catherine "Sandy" MacLean; his siblings, Donna Smith, William "Billy" and Malcolm "Maxie" MacLean; and his parent Allie. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Allie's Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to cancer research in his memory.
