Helen (Jessome) Finney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Helen (Jessome) Finney (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Regis and Clifton Jessome; her husband Dave; and her siblings, Theresa, Audrey, Yvonne and Jimmy.

She is survived by: her children, Rodgerena Finney, Sydney Mines, Diana (Kenny Steele), Clifton, David (Elsie), Richard (Karen), Bras, Dennis (Wendy), River, Danny (Della), Corner Brook, Creston (Monique) and Leon (Vivian); her great great grandchild Ella; her siblings, Eunice Hyde, Dennis Jessome (Beanie) and Lenny Jessome (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Finney, Connie Jessome and Harold Millington. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Cancer Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
