He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Fraser and Margaret Fraser (MacLean); his brothers, Kenneth and David; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Hawley.
He is survived by: his wife Marie (Jessome); his children, Susan and Stephen Fraser (Jennifer); his siblings, Roy, Isabel Hawley and Vida MacNeil (Basil); his siblings-in-law, Darrell (Mary Lou Jessome) and Sharon Eszes; and his nephews, Sandy, Rodney and Kenny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
