Fred Boutilier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Boutilier (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sarah Boutilier (Steele) and Frederick Boutilier; his father-in-law Michael Matheson; his brothers-in-law, Leo Matheson and Billy MacDonald; his wife Joan; his children, John (Dianne) and Karen (Dave); his grandsons, Alex and David; his siblings, John (Ferla), Alex (Sandra), Colin (Sheila), Mary Jane Elliott (Colin), Lloyd (Judy) and Paulette Fowler (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Florence MacDonald, Arthena Matheson, Cecilia Harvey, Betty MacNeil, Austin Matheson (Fran) and Bill Matheson (Sharon). He was also cherished by many nieces & nephews.
