It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Devoe (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Leitches Creek, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 29, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Eva Ball (Clark); her stepparent Christina Ball (MacQueen); and her daughter Nancy Ann Devoe. She is survived by: her grandmother Eva Clark Devoe (Ball); her parent Alvin Ball; her children, George (Maxine), Brenda Taylor (Brian) and Derek; her grandchildren, Karen Bradley, Abigail Taylor, John Taylor, Evan Jessome, Peter Jessome, Melvin Devoe (Christina), Stella Devoe and Mavis Devoe; her pet Skippy; and also, Lawrence (Tina), Kevin (Anne), Lori Ann and Nicole (Brian Miles).
