She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Doyle (Harrietha) and Walter Doyle; her husband Samuel (Buster); her siblings, Medie Boutlier (Hector), Lucy Lamey (Sam), Nellie MacPhee (Neil), Monica Ramsay (Woody), Edward (Nora) and Jackie; her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Doyle, Bessie MacDonald (Mike), Charlotte MacLean, Vince Isaac and Vern MacLean; her son-in-law Steven Dowling; and her great grandchild Shaylynn Dowling.
She is survived by: her children, John Hugh (Carol Ann), Joanne, Charlotte (Kevin), Jane (Bernie), Lilly (Jack) and Sammy (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Monique (Josh), Melissa (Doug), Lisa, Leonard (Erin), Stephen, Catherine (Raymond), Michael (Courtney), Janelle (Jason), Thomas (Machaela), Daniel, Matthew (Cally), Katie, Sarah (Paul), Brendon (Blaire), Iain (Kaitlyn) and Rylan (Brandy); and her siblings, Anne, Leo and Jim (Maureen). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4).
