It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen Vera Matheson (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kelland and Sicili Kelland; her former husband John Bushell; her children, Rebecca and Jackie; and her siblings, Asneth Mulley, Viola Petrowski, Annie McGean, Sadie Totten, Melbourne and Charlie Kelland.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Ley (Bernie), Sally Ford (Wayne), Linda Blinkhorn (Billy), Susan Ford (Freddie), Timmy Bushell (Denise), Kathy Bradbury (Gerry) and Laurie Boutilier (Bruce); her siblings, Nelson, Richard (Isabelle) and Madeline Giles; her sister-in-law Pauline (Norman Matheson); and her stepchildren, George, Wayne, Ann and Norma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
