She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Urquhart (MacIntosh) and Frank Urquhart of Pleasant Bay; and her parents-in-law, Peter (Pea) and Mary MacKinnon (May). She is survived by: her husband Allister Kenneth MacKinnon; her children, Michael, Juanita (Aundre Gwynn) and Abbigail (Julian Corbin); her sisters-in-law, Clara and Lillian; her brother John McEvoy; and her brothers-in-law, Tommy, Danny and Fred Bonnar.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
