We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2021, at the age of 63, Colleen Johnston of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin Fortune and Lorraine Fortune; her parents-in-law, Edward and Germaine Johnston; her sister-in-law Louise Young; and her sister Linda MacDonald.

She is survived by: her significant other Jackie; her children, John Johnston (Ashley) and Marsha Johnston (Sandy); her siblings, Adeline (Carl), Ada (Lyndon), Deborah (Michael), Danny, Colin (Brenda), John Thomas, Frankie, David (Thelma), Kenny (Merilda), Freddy and Beverly (Mabel); her grandchildren, Brittany (Matthew), Nathan (Marley), Colin (Vanessa), Jaelyn, Ava, Evan and Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Myla, Lukas, Jaxson, Layla and Sophie; and her close friends, Marcella MacRae, Mary Pearo, Moira Hines and Mary Jessome. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
