He was predeceased by: his parents, William MacKeigan and Emma MacKeigan (Crowther); his wife Alberta "Birt" (Maxwell); his sons, Billy and Bobby; and his siblings, Johnny, Bill, Albie, Elmer, Majorie and Edie.
He is survived by: his children, Kim (Sandy), Cavell (Rocky), Carl (Rose), Maxine (Andrew) and Sandi Lynn; and his friend Danny LeBlanc. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
