He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mills and Maydell Mills (Jessome); his sister Loretta Ryan (Hubba); his siblings-in-law, Linda, Florie, Edward Forrest (Skinny), Willson Hardy and Dave Romaniuk; and his nephews, John, Kenny, Lenny O'Toole and Bill Jerrett.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie of Terry, PEI, Doug (Heather), Winnipeg, George (Rennie), Harley (Mary), Donald (Jenny), Billy of Sydney Mines, Rob (Lisa), Gail LeBlanc (Frankie), Catherine Forrest (Kay), Sydney Mines, Ann Henwood and Lynn Laroque (Mike); and his brother-in-law Bill Ryan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
