He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Buffett and Mary Buffett; his granddaughter Laura Jessome; and his son-in-law Charlie Jessome. He is survived by: his wife Deanna; his children, Bernadette, Edna, Johnny (Tara) and Debbie (Jason); his grandchildren, Ricky, Nicole (Blaise), Kayla (Chris), Jamie (Sheldon) and Deanna (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Landon, Declan, Hylie, Aryah, Malakai, Charley, Brady, Sawyer and Lincoln Bernard; his siblings, Barrie, Cecil (Edie), Earl, Cameron (Doreen), Wayne, Yvonne, Joan (Sander), Mary, Olive (Bob), Sharon and Joanne (Greg); his parents-in-law, Debbie, Sherry (Emmett), Monte (Debbie), Roy (Bonnie), Edna and John Serafinus; his siblings, Junior, James C, Edward and Josephine; and his siblings-in-law, Hartland, Ernie, John, Francie, Shirley, Sonja, Lorraine, Francis, Allison and Wanda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
