She is survived by: her husband Alfred Carey; her daughter Sherry Alderson (Glenn); her sisters, Mary Matthews (Jackie) and Janie Gouthro; her granddaughters, Monique, Melissa and Maranda; her great grandchild Henry; and also, Tracy Inder and Derek Devoe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
