We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2020, Albert Yates (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Howley, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Yates and Myrtle Yates; and his brother Kerry. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Andrea; his children, Kerry (Laurie), Nicki (Phil Adam), Sheri (Mark Aikens) and Shelly (Geoff Ashford); the parent of his children Caryl; his sisters, Phyllis Stratton and Kitty (Edgar Stratton); his grandchildren, Kieran, Abbey, Josh, Cole, Sydney, Evie, Jeremy and Elliott; and his significant other's children, Eddie, Debbie, Tricia and Darlene.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
