Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Winston Spates (Summerville, Nova Scotia), who passed away at the age of 78, on January 10, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rexford Spates and Esther Spates (Crosby). He is survived by: his siblings, Betty and Victor (Jan); his wife Dorothy; his children, Alan, Dale (Colleen) and Esther (Nelson); and his grandchildren, Kari, Kyle, Jeremy and Nicolas.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
