He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Roland Marsters and Madge Thelma Harvey; his siblings, Florence MacCallum, Gilbert and Ralph; and his stepmother Nina Gertrude Marsters.

He is survived by: his wife Rowena Louise Marsters (Ogilvie); his daughters, Angela Fae Sawler (Peter), Berwick and Wendy Yvonne Slauenwhite (Corey Smicer); his grandchildren, Katie Slauenwhite (Cody), Jessica Slauenwhite (Matt), Halifax, Ricky Sawler (Allyson), Sackville, Michelle Hildebrand (Nathan), Enfield and Brian Sawler; his niece Judy Ettinger (David); his brother Gerald Marsters of Ottawa; and his niece Juliette (Royce Spencer).
