It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Jackson (Stewiacke, Nova Scotia), born in Oakfield, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 6, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Lewis Rose; and her siblings, Sadie Rose, Jenny Ramsey, Helen Lieshman, Frances Ramsey, Mary Barns, Cora Rose, Melvin, Angus, Lewis, Laurie, Robert, Clarence and Vincent.

She is survived by: her parent Carrie Rose; her spouse John Bamford Jackson of Stewiacke; and her children, Stephen (Debbie), Dutch Settlement, Fredrick (Sharon), Cloverdale, Peter (Ellen), Truro, Pam Bennett (Lloyd), Debbie Nielsen (Harold), Shortts Lake and Kelly Eye (David). She is also survived by foster parent from 1962 until 1995 caring for over 60 children.
