Shirley Irene Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, Shirley Irene Smith of Stewiacke, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wilcox and Esther Wilcox (Murphy) of Stewiacke; her husband James Ira "Jim" Smith; her brother Leonard Wilcox; her brothers-in-law, Sheldon Greene and Sid Day; and her nieces, Cindy and Vicky MacKenzie.

She is survived by: her son Stephen (Shelley); her grandchildren, Kyle (Samantha), Travis (Christie) and Danielle Delaney (Alex); her great grandchildren, Rhett, Madison, Tucker and Walker; her sisters, Hazel Greene, Annie MacKenzie (Jack) of Chilliwack, BC, Dorothy MacDonald (Graham) and Elaine Day; and her sister-in-law Marion Wilcox.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lifepoint Church (112 Main St E, Stewiacke, NS B0N2J0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to Lifepoint Church to continue their service to the community or a charity of your choice.
