He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl MacKenzie and Hilda MacKenzie (Smith); his wife Brenda (MacDonnell); and his siblings, Pat, Bobby and Pansy.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel (Amy), Phil (Jenna), Mike (Lindsay), Josh (Rachelle) and Steve (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Kaleb, Logan, Leah, Hunter, Xavier, Talon, Ashton, Reid, Stevie and Dani; and his siblings, Alfred, Alice, Scotty and Cindy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stewiacke Legion.
