He was predeceased by: his parent Ernest Albert; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Whitman, Owen "Bud", Vernon, Harold, Francis and Mildred.
He is survived by: his parent Gertrude (Coffell); his children, Joe (Stella) of Eastern Passage, Cathy (Carl), Patty (Rick), Gauvin of Millbrook and Joyce (Doug); his grandchildren, Amy (Phil), Anderson, Jacqueline (John), Pound, Jessica Martell, Stephen MacKay, Justin (Robyn), Jasmine and Kyle Facey; his siblings, Ken (Lillian) of Smithfield and Claire (Ralph) of Plymouth; and also, Doucette of Eastern Passage, Trefry of Smithfield and Foote of Plymouth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
