He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Linthorne and Marjorie Linthorne (Curry) of Stellarton; his daughter Rosetta; and his siblings, Fred, Brenda, Marjorie Joyce, Marlene, Heather and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his children, Violet (Rob) and Bobbie (Maria); his stepchildren, Cathy and Edie; his siblings, Gerald (Shelly), Herald (Debbie), Grace, Helen (Mac) and Sharon (Mike); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Jacqueline, Kyle, Jamie, Faye and Billie Jean. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
