He is survived by: his son John (Jack); his daughter-in-law Tena of Ontario; his daughters, Alice (MacLeod-Newbery) of Halifax and Linda MacLeod of Halifax; his grandchildren, Jean Darroch, Michelle Darroch, Scott Newbery and Nicholas Newbery; his siblings, Bill Stewart and Muriel Kennedy (Bob MacLean); his siblings-in-law, Jim Fraser (Barbara Cotton) and Colleen Stewart; and also May.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sharon St. John United Church (33 Acadia Ave, Stellarton, NS B0K1S0). A masonic service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
