She was predeceased by: her husband Spencer Jack Simpson; her mother Annie MacDonald of Stellarton; her brothers, David MacDonald of Stellarton, Agustus "Gussie" MacDonald of Stellarton and Danny MacDonald of Stellarton; and her daughter Cheryl Lynn MacDonald of Trenton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rachael MacDonald of Truro, Colleen Jobe of Toronto and Elizabeth "Faye" MacDonald of Ottawa; and her nephew Michael Spencer MacDonald. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
