He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cornett and Lena Cornett (Anderson); his brothers, Vernon Anderson, Ronald Cornett, Peter Cornett, Frank Cornett and Bruce Cornett; his half-brothers, Arthur Cornett and John Cornett; and his sisters, Sylvia Silver and Shirley Cornett.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Cornett (Fleming); his daughters, Brandy Cornett (Chris), Belinda Dawson (Derek), Angela Hape and Amy Miller (Brad); his grandchildren, Tristan, Devon, Zack and Deanna; and his siblings, Leonard Cornett (Shelley), Georgina Silver, Beatrice Cornett and Irma Slager. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
