He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Anderson and Georgina Anderson (Baxter); and his wife Mona. He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Fisch and Gerald R. Anderson (Dee) of Ottawa; his siblings-in-law, Philip Thomas of Abercrombie and Anne Cullen of Stellarton; and his sister Phyllis Thomas.
Donations in memory of John may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
