She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Grace Hayes; and her sister Nancy Lee Hayes. She is survived by: her father James Emery Hayes of Stellarton; her children, Kaitlyn Hayes and Kristian Hayes of Stellarton; her brother Harlin Hayes; her nephew Matthew of Halifax; her aunts, Viola Price, Jeannie Sampson (Howie) and Elizabeth Ballie; and her close friends, Alicia Tupper, Colleen and Jim Nix.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eagles Funeral Home (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Eagles Funeral Chapel (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0).
