She was predeceased by: her parent John W. Reid; her spouse Douglas Turnbull (Slug); her siblings-in-law, Elsie, Jim, John, Harold, Denny and Mel; and her nephews, Stephen and Matthew.
She is survived by: her parent Georgina Reid (Livingstone); her siblings, Carol Reid (Greenwood) and Robert (Margie); her children, Douglas "Dougie", Little Harbour, Brian (Rhonda), Dartmouth, Beverly of Trenton, Jeffrey (Darlene) and Darren (Denise); her siblings-in-law, Mary, Marjorie (Buddy), Sam (Leona) and Ronald (Eileen); and also Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pictou County Food bank in memory of Doris or to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
