It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Margaret Sloan of Stellarton, Nova Scotia, born in Thorburn, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herbert and Sarah Violet MacDonald (Haddad); her husband Daniel "Dan" Sloan; her siblings, Clarence MacDonald, Ann Ramsay and William "Bill" MacDonald; her siblings-in-law, Catherine "Kay" MacDonald and Fred Ramsay; her niece Charlotte Munroe; her nephew Harvey MacDonald; and her great-niece Jaclyn Sarah MacDonald.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Finley MacDonald (Vanda), Aldena MacDonald (Bill Geddes), Rocklin, Ricky MacDonald (Monique), Sylvester, Doris Patterson (Donald), Edward "Ted" Ramsay, Daniel Ramsay (Sheila), Wallace and Joanne Ramsay. She is also survived by many grand and great nieces and nephews.
